GRIEZMANN HOPES TO CONTINUE AT BARCA FOR A LONG TIME

Barcelona forward Antoine Griezmann has revealed that he has the ambition of remaining a player for the club for a long time to come after reaching one hundred appearances for the Catalan giants. Since signing for Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona from rivals Atletico Madrid some months ago, Griezmann has had a mixed career at the Camp Nou and has had fans call for his head as well. The France international attacker left Atletico under strange circumstances after he paid a part of his transfer fee that saw him make the switch from the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium to the Camp Nou over two transfer windows ago.

He has been both hero and villain at Barca since his move and most of the club's fans are insisting that he should be sold due to his Kaci of consistency. The forward has scored 35 goals for the club during the period which he has recorded 100 appearances for them but he has still not impressed a section of their fans and he has admitted that although he would love to make a huge improvement on his output in front of goal, it is difficult to prove everybody, including the fans.

Following the departure of Lionel Messi from Barcelona, Griezmann is said to be one of the senior players at the club who would lead their attack alongside Memphis Depay and Sergio Agüero. But with Ousmane Dembele and Martin Braithwaite also in the attacking pecking order, he would have to step up his game to regain his place in Ronald Koeman's team.

Speaking on his 100th appearance for the club, Griezmann said he knows that there has been a lot of rumors about his future but he is solely focused on remaining a Barcelona player and even added that he wishes to make a hundred more appearances for the Catalan giants.
