Barcelona forward Antoine Griezmann showered a truckload of praises on his teammate at the France national team and Paris Saint-Germain stunning winger Kylian Mbappé. The pacy young attacker was on fire on Tuesday night as he netted a hat-trick in a 4-1 torturing of Barcelona at the Camp Nou in the first leg of their Round of 16 fixture.

Mbappé was the scorer of three of his team's four goals as the French side placed a huge doubt on Barca's qualification hopes in the competition. The three goals Mbappé scored meat that he is now just the third player to score a hat-trick against the Catalan giants after Faustino Asprilla (for Newcastle) and Andriy Shevchenko (for Dynamo Kyiv).
Following Mbappé's stunning performance on the night, Griezmann was impressed and also spoke highly of the former AS Monaco forward. Speaking to RMC Sport, Griezmann said he is happy with his international team-mate and that even though Mbappé has been criticized a lot, it is what happens in the world of football, citing that he has to deal with it properly. Adding to that, Griezmann said it is easy to criticize players when they play badly, but also claimed that he believes Mbappé will tackle the criticism well on the pitch.
Also, the Barcelona attacker proceeded to compare Mbappé to young Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, claiming that the young Frenchman will be up there with the two superstars at a later time in his career. Cristiano Ronaldo is a big idol of Mbappé, and he has been trying to pattern his style of play to that of the Portuguese legend. He would surely love the comparisons between him and Ronaldo as he looks to emulate the Juventus talisman and try to achieve some of what he has achieved in his career.
