French World Cup winner Antoine Griezmann has scored the first goal of his second spell at Spanish champions after he came off the bench to score the equaliser for his team. Antoine Griezmann is back at Atletico Madrid after a two-year spell at Barcelona though the forward is on loan from the financially unstable Catalan giants.

Griezmann opened his goal account for his second Atletico Madrid spell during the Champions League clash with Italian team AC Milan at the San Siro on Tuesday night. The two teams are in Group B which has been termed the Group of Death. FC Porto and Liverpool are the other two teams in the group.
Hosts AC Milan have a very bad record against Spanish clubs in European competition but they made a great start during their Champions League clash with Atletico Madrid thanks to Portuguese forward Rafael Leao. His goal on 20 minutes broke the deadlock but the game would change in favour of Atletico Madrid nine minutes due to the red card to Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessie after two yellow cards. Kessie was given his marching orders around the half hour mark and the sending off played a big part in the outcome of the game.
Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone made a lot of attacking changes in the second half and they included the introduction of Renan Lodi and Antoine Griezmann for Mario Hermoso and Koke respectively. Lodi and Griezmann combined to drag Atletico Madrid level with just six minutes to go before the Spaniardswere given the chance to take all three points courtesy the penalty awarded against young Milan defender Pierre Kalulu in stoppage time. Luis Suarez stepped up to score the penalty thus giving Atletico Madrid a 2-1 comeback win over their hosts.
In the other Group B game on Tuesday, Liverpool hit home team FC Porto for five though they were able to score one goal. Liverpool are at the summit with two wins from two games after the 5-1 win over Porto, while Atletico Madrid are on four points. FC Porto have one point and they are in third position, while Milan are last on the standings with zero point.
