GRIEZMANN REGISTERS THIRD GOAL AGAINST CADIZ

French World Cup winner Antoine Griezmann scored his third league goal of the season with one of the goals as his Atletico Madrid side ran riot against hosts Cadiz in the Spanish La Liga.

After a goalless affair in the first half, French international Thomas Lemar gave Atletico Madrid the lead four minutes before the hour mark off the assist from Belgian player Yannick-Ferreira Carrasco. Antoine Griezmann then doubled the lead for the away team on 70 minutes off the assist from Marcos Llorente for his third Atletico Madrid goal in the Spanish La Liga since his return from rivals Barcelona for a second spell at the capital club.
Petite Argentine attacker Angel Correa added a third goal for La Liga holders Atletico Madrid six minutes after the goal from Antoine Griezmannoff the assist from Brazilian footballer Mattheus Cunha who had come on for Luis Suarez.

Cadiz pulled one goal back through four minutes from time through Honduran footballer Anthony Lozano off the deflection from Carrasco only for Atletico to have their three-goal lead restored in a matter of seconds thanks to Cunha who turned scorer from provider off the assist from Antoine Griezmann.

Second half goals from Lemar, Griezmann, Correa and Cunha propelled Atletico Madrid to a 4-1 away win over Cadizto make it two successive league victories as they bounced back from the disappointing home defeat to AC Milan in the Champions League on Wednesday. Atletico Madrid face a big battle to qualify from Group B in the Champions League after they lost 1-0 at home to the Rossoneri thanks to the goal from Brazilian player Junior Messias three minutes from time.Atletico Madrid will have to beat FC Porto away from home in their last group game to have any chance of sealing a place in the knockout stage.

In the league, Atletico Madrid are up to second from fourth after the big win over Cadiz.
